During its tenth session (16-20 March 2015), the Commission for Phytosanitary Measures (CPM) agreed that the concept of a commodity standard should be determined and agreed to TORs_WGCommodityStandards (ToRs) to discuss the concept of a commodity standard .
The meeting of the working group is scheduled to be held from 20 to 24 July 2015 in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Experts for the working group have been selected by the CPM Bureau.
According the ToRs, the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is issuing a call for discussion papers for this meeting to contracting parties, National Plant Protection Organizations (NPPOs), Regional Plant Protection Organizations (RPPOs) and relevant international organizations with a deadline of 12 June 2015.
